THE DISAPPEARING 'SUMMERSVILLE MEETS GHASTLIES' 9 PATCH QUILT

I managed to finish this quilt a few minutes ago...woo hoo!!! I wasn't thrilled, at first, with how I decided to quilt it...so I'm calling my method 'loop-ty oops' LOL!  The fabrics are so busy, and thread just seemed to disappear as I quilted, that, at times, I just kept getting 'lost' not knowing where I had already quilted.... even though I took my time and thought I knew where I was heading...oh well, live and learn.  The fabrics for the top are from two Summersville charm packs (thanks again to Jane!) but the backing is 'ghastlie knots' by Alexander Henry.....and I have to say that I love how they worked together. I used some solid Kona jelly roll strips along with some of the ghastlie knots fabric to bind it. I cut each of the solid strips in random sizes, alternating with the 'knots' strips and I'm so happy with the end result.  All I need to do now is sew on my label and then it's off to the next project!
