SIX INCH BLOCKS

Haven't been able to work on any projects since getting back from vacation because I got sick and boy it sure is hard to cut or sew when all you are doing is hacking up a lung coughing etc.. Today, however, I'm feeling a bit better and was able to start on my six inch blocks (I'll square them all up once I finish all the blocks). I want to use more of my Kansas Troubles fabrics to make some small table runners and decided it would be fun to do a variety of blocks starting with these two. The top one is called Ohio Star and the bottom is called Puss In The Corner. (sorry about the quality of the photos) The patterns are from Sampler Quilts & Blocks by Fons & Porter and what I really love about this magazine is that they give the measurements to make each block in your choice of 6", 9" or 12" sizes.  Time now for a Ricola and some hot tea.
