HANDMADE QUILT RACK

This is the beautifully handmade quilt rack that my quilting buddy's talented woodworking hubby built for me. It is made from solid walnut and I just love how it looks (it's not wonky...that's caused by the angle I took the picture from)! The quilt hanging on it is actually one I purchased last year (before I started learning how to quilt) from a local quilt shop (it had been a store sample and the price was so low that I couldn't resist!). I'm so happy I'll now have a place to display my quilts...when they are not being used to keep us warm.

  1. Oh WOW! Thats a really pretty one! My neighbor has one too.... hers is really big and neat looking... but I like the handcrafted items myself... My hubby builds a lot of things for me so I think those are better than any store bought one anyway! :o)

  2. you know, quilt racks used to be in all of the stores, but now, you cannot find one-weird, huh? your husband did an awesome job on this, terry! and i love that quilt, too!
