I was given the opportunity to try Designer Effects Chalk It Up Vinyl (which you can find at Custom Crops) and wanted to create a project with it {I found this vinyl to be extremely easy to use}. Off to the Dollar Store I went and found these cute Fireman and Policeman magnets along with a metal 'Home Decor' board and an idea was born. These products (and a few more) would make a really cute combination Chalk and Magnet Board. The firetruck and police car (also magnets) are made using my Cricut Design Studio, Cricut Expression and the Boys Will Be Boys cartridge. All the details, lots of pictures and a

I bought some of this chalkboard vinyl but my daughter snatched it up for her kids' playroom and I never ordered more. I'll be doing that tomorrow and raiding the new dollar store in town. I just love the overall fun appeal of your project! TFS!
ReplyDeleteGreat Chalking board! Reminds me of what I've made in the past..oooohooo, using wipe off pens and sticky back plastic over card...will have to hunt one out now!

OMGOSH... Such a CUTE idea Terry! I Love this board and yes I can see all kinds of ideas coming out of this... And I Love the bears! I collect them sooo I think they make the board extra special! :o)
