A VERY VINTAGE CHRISTMAS

After seeing the latest 12 Days of Christmas Tags that Tim Holtz has been creating, I was inspired to create one of my own.  I cannot believe how many supplies were used just to make this one tag but here goes: tag is from my stash; Cuttlebug; Tim Holtz Sizzix Texture Fades Woodgrain embossing folder; Tim Holtz Santa Letter stamp; Distress Inks: Barn Door, Tea Dye, Vintage Photo; Distress Stickles in Fired Brick; Glossy Accents; SU Dimensionals; doily and tulle from stash; Grungeboard plain elements swirl; Copic markers; Folk Art Paint Metallic Pearl White; Stamp-n Stuff embossing powder in red dragon; number 25 stamp from Unity; the Paper Studio 1 1/2" circle punch; jingle bell; shabby wrinkled ribbon; Tim Holtz jump ring and clip (No 25), Flower Soft Polar White, alcohol ink in Caramel.
In the picture with the tag are some real vintage Santas. The large one is a Rempel Co. squeaky toy (and he still squeaks!) that was my hubby's as a child...and is the first Christmas item to be displayed every year. The two small ones are from my late mother-in-law's vast Christmas ornament collection (that I am lucky enough to own).  Can you find the Santa's and tag in the photo of our fireplace? Hope you all enjoy and have a Very Merry Christmas!!!

  5. I'm so dumb. I click on my link to your blog. Then I see the photo of the rubber santa and think "Oh how funny, we have one of those". Then I realized I was on your blog. I feel really dumb now. But at least it was funny!
