SUPER STAR CARD FOR PAPER CUTZ CHALLENGE #15

Paper Cutz Challenge #15 is to make a card, layout or project using stars. I created a round card with a welded star in the center using my CDS and Cricut baby bug. I tied ribbons around the outside layer before adhering it to the bright pink paper I chose for the inside. I cut the letters for the word 'SUPER' also using my Cricut and using my Inkssentials white opaque pen I did some faux stitching on the star. I finished by adding five small stars. To see what all the talented ladies created for this challenge and to join in the fun, go to Paper Cutz Challenge by clicking here

CHECK OUT THE BEAUTIFUL MINI BOOK MY DAUGHTER MADE FOR MY BIRTHDAY!!!

This adorable little mini book was made as a birthday gift for me by my very talented daughter, Diana. She hand cut each piece of chipboard then covered the front and back of each cover with pretty paper. She is a collector of vintage items as you can see by the lovely embellishments she used on the cover and like her mother, loves bling!!! I get to finish the inside of this mini anyway I want (I may have to see what I can 'borrow' from her collection of pretties!!!) To see more of her beautiful creations click here or on my sidebar shown as Vintage Blue Studio.

CARD FOR TWO CHALLENGES

This card fits two challenges: Peachy Keen Challenge #14 which was to make a card, use the colors pink and brown, a stamped image, piece of ribbon and glitter. The other was for Papertakes Weekly Challenge Sketch #26. I used my Gypsy with the Mini Monograms and Doodlecharms cartridges to cut the cupcake and scalloped circles. I ran the pink swirl cs through my Sizzix Big Kick with the new Sizzix Three Dots Large Embossing Folder Birthday Set #2 and the two scalloped circles using the Cuttlebug Swiss Dots embossing folder. I used Ranger Stickles for the 'icing hair' on the cupcake and to dot the brown scalloped circle and stamped the Peachy Keen Paper Doll face with Memento Tuxedo Black dye ink, colored the mouth with a Zig Color Brush in Sweetheart and dotted the eyes with Inkssentials white opaque pen, ribbon is from Offray and American Crafts Elements, I used the Tim Holtz Tiny Attacher to staple the small piece of ribbon, paper is from Best Occasions, DCWV the Sweet Stack & K&Company Gypsy Baby Paper pad.

"BOO" CARD

This card was done for the Crafty Creations Challenge #38 All Hallows Eve. I used my Gypsy and Gypsy Wanderings cartridge for the pumpkins and PDDU for the ghosts (my Cricut didn't cut all the way through the glitter paper so I peeled them off and actually liked how they curled a bit) ,Cricut and CDS and Paper Pups cartridge for the word BOO, MS Drippy Goo Punch, cardstock from Recollections Halloween stack, Best Occasions Prismatic Paper pack, DCWV the Glitter cardstock matstack, DCWV Indian Summer Fall Stack to make the card, Memento Tuxedo Black dye ink, Ranger Stickles Black Diamond, wiggle eyes, pop dots, Scotch mounting tape and Zig Millenium black pen.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN - ON THE ROAD FROM THE 'CRAFT WAGON' !!!

These are two projects I finished before my husband and I left this past Monday on our cross country journey to our home in the Southwest in our rv..the top one shows Halloween candy cups I created using the Cricut and CDS; the card was also made using the Cricut and CDS ( I totally forgot to post these..... what with our youngest son's wedding last week, visiting with family, getting our house back East ready for the winter before we left, and packing up the rv.. being sure not to forget all my crafting stuff.....causing my husband to laughingly refer to it as the "craft wagon"!!! It turned into that, too, because he stopped at not one, but two, Hobby Lobby stores and Archivers for me so I could shop for lots of new goodies for my b-day!!! He's the best!!!
